The clear intent to vote is a valid vote.

This court is illegitimate and should be rejected at all levels of governance.

Holy shit that’s terrible. I’m not in PA so this won’t affect my ballot, but I voted early in-person on my birthday and I literally did this. I wrote my birthday instead of that day’s date alongside my signature. Realizing my mistake, I scribbled it out and put the correct date. I asked an election judge and they reassured me it wouldn’t make a difference and my vote would still be counted. Now if I lived in PA, on the other hand, it wouldn’t have been counted.

This is why when I voted by mail in PA I made extra sure that not only was the date correct and complete but that my signature matched the one on my license.

That’s something that’s disenfranchised people before, and I went so far as to practice it a couple times to make sure it was as close as possible.

Sucks that we can’t trust the government to just count are votes but our country is built on not trusting the government.
