I work in HR. I might steal this as some perspective for when someone insults the collective intelligence by claiming they couldn’t have known and shouldn’t suffer any consequences.
Bad HR immediately posts a sign saying Soda pouring near inclined load conveyance is prohibited by Management and has everyone take escalator soda slip safety training.
Good HR fires the dipshit as an example of what happens to dipshits, so people self-regulate and much less collective time can be spent on Stupid island having moronic conversations.
I believe that it follows the natural law of…
Puposefully destroying other people’s property is absolutely a crime with many applicable laws.
You’ll have a great career in business
I do believe that would qualify as sabotage, if done deliberately anyways. Soda acids will eventually corrode wires, motors, gears and chains.
The water content would cause issues too, as would the sugary syrup.
Agreed. Vinegar and salt water works way quicker…
While not specifically outlawing that, it is illegal here to dump liquids on the ground. You could get a littering fine if you empty your cold coffee in the parking lot. I’m sure they could probably also ding you for vandalism or destruction of property with your hypothetical.
