It’s not ripe yet. Sure, the green is gone, but the brown spots haven’t started to show up yet.
Gross! Everyone knows bananananananananas are best when there’s still a bit of green.

Their flavour is probably based on the Gros Michel variety of bananas, which was mostly wiped out by a blight in the 1950s. Most bananas these days are the Cavendish variety, which doesn’t taste the same.
Are these the ones that produce epic levels of mucus as defense? I saw a video once of a frog try to eat one of those and it eventually gave up after its mouth was so full of mucus it couldn’t swallow
it was a snake, the slime from the slug clogged the snakes mouth.
