People who don’t think questions on nostupidquestions should be criticized for being stupid.

We don’t know how rational or irrational this is. Kitchen fires do happen. If you don’t know how to prevent or handle them, then it’s a very rational fear to have.
Having kids will do that to you
Without a lid, you lose more water and heat, so it’ll take longer and cost more energy to get the soup to temperature and maintain that temperature, as well as to heat up the extra water that replaces whatever has evaporated. But it’s perfectly doable.
Some stores sell these one-size-fits-all lids that are basically like an inverted dome. Also sometimes sold as “universal pot lid”. A poorly fitted lid is better than no lid in my opinion. You’ll probably save on the energy costs with just a few uses.
Does that work when you also want to be in control of those companies? All the big CEOs I can think of directly own shares in their own companies.
Damn bro, that’s insane growth. 25lbs of lean mass in 9 months is what I’d expect from someone who’s heavily juiced up and training/eating optimally. There’s no way that whatever you’ve got going on is applicable to the average person.
Pea protein is usually blended with rice protein to make a complete protein. Pea protein on its own isn’t complete.
Thanks for the informative post. I was all ready to poke fun at this move.
It becomes a cringe adult phase when you get older.
They didn’t actually ban cars. Only reduced traffic to certain areas.
Same. I still don’t know the social script in these scenarios. Do I individually thank everyone for their birthday wishes? Do I thank everyone with one message after it seems like everyone’s done? How long do I wait? What if someone jumps in after I do that with a belated happy birthday?
I went the friend-to-romantic-partner route, so it was pretty much just like hanging out with any other friends.
Says they’re expecting a 30% drop in traffic from these changes. Definitely way off from car-free.
I’d love to see a street view equivalent to this project.
Submarines work by manipulating their density, don’t they? Then they just float at whatever level matches their density.
I would be equally amazed to see something denser than water swimming.
It’s probably uncommon to go from Christian to Muslim or vice versa, but I’ve seen many going from religious to atheist.
I don’t hear much about vegan children, so I can’t speak on that.
Celebrating Chinese New years? I think when it comes to culture specific celebrations, it feels inappropriate to partake in those of other cultures, especially when you don’t know much of them. But when you have some of your own where that doesn’t apply, then you take it, because a celebration of any kind of a celebration. An excuse for getting together and doing something special.
I think this shift you speak of is more likely when the world around you is visibly doing better than your immediate surroundings. Right now, I’m not convinced that’s the case anymore, so sticking to what you know and grew up with feels much safer, even if it’s still shitty.
Mom called. She wants to know when to expect grandkids.
I get the opposite problem. If I get things nearly perfect on the first try, I’ll just think to myself that I’ll never top that and give up. There’s something satisfying about seeing improvement. In the same vein, seeing results get worse is highly discouraging.
This isn’t without its own problems. If you fail to renew your domain and someone else picks it up, they now have access to all your accounts. At least with a popular provider like Gmail, they don’t allow emails to be reused, and if they ever discontinue email services and drop the gmail.com domain, everyone will know about it and know that password reset requests should not be sent to these emails.
