Google keyboard before they went all in on machine learning for spelling and grammar. It was freaky good at correction, then immediately fell off a cliff. It still replaces my son’s name, which I type multiple times a day, with a less common name even when I type it correctly. I’ve removed the wrong name from the dictionary but no dice, still gets it wrong.
I bought a fancy US made spatula for my grill. They make a smaller cheaper one that I added on impulse. That little guy is a champ and gets 5x the use of the big fancy one.
Rail is laid at a “neutral temperature” calculated from the min and max temperatures of an area. They want the rail to not pull apart in the cold or buckle in the heat. If average temperatures go up that calculated neutral temperature goes up so rail laid at a lower neutral temperature are more likely to buckle.
Yeah but golf isn’t a sport.
The alternative is the death of NPR so yeah.
Bang bang bang
Something bitter and not too sweet, whatever they have. At home I make bourbon and soda with a splash of orange bitters or change it up with a different spirit.
I like bitter and don’t really like sweet. Adding club soda makes the drink stretch farther and reduces dehydration. If I order drinks neat I drink them too fast, drink too many, and end up paying for it with my wallet and my headache.
I would say that never goes away, but when the decisions change from “house or food” to “camper or boat” etc.
I’m gonna go the other way. The only marketing I acknowledge is factual reporting of design features that make a product suitable for the intended task. Anything else is dishonest and manipulative.
Think of Chris Cooper’s character from Interstate 50. Any marketing claim must be specific, measurable, verifiable, and accurate.
I use pocket app to save online recipes I like for later use. It is searchable and a separate list than my bookmarks which I like.
Is that CGP Grey?
A lot of southern things were co-opted from blacks. It’s called soul food for a reason.
Can you be fired for conditions they decided to change?
What happens if you refuse both options?
I had a flat CRT. It was even heavier than a regular one.
Welding is a good trade and plenty of welders are introverts. At the shop I work at, most of the welders are introverts, with one notable extrovert that nobody likes. Welding is a solitary craft due to safety constraints, it’s just you and the part in your weld cell.
You don’t need to be an extrovert to prove yourself. If you want to prove yourself, you could work on becoming a very skilled welder. Learn the methods, master them, pay attention to details, perfect your craft, learn to weld exotic materials, and your introverted self will be revered and paid handsomely for your abilities. None of that requires you to be a loud dudebrochug.
If you’re comfortable on computers, add robot welding to your repertoire. That is the hot new thing, and could make you even more money since your setups will allow you to put out even more parts with less manual labor.
Oh good. Anyways…
