I am just curious, what kind of recent narrative-focused games have you bounced off from?

A very good point. :)
I am a big vibes person too, although of course gameplay plays (no pun intended) a massive role.
I remember playing Lemmings on DOS in like 97 or 98.
I could never figure the game out (I was very young). This seems like a good modern take on the formula.
I like the graphics on this one. While I am a hardcore logistics/tycoon nerd, I do sometimes enjoy somewhat more casual experiences. :)
Some nice screenshot, I thought Fallout 76 looked like shit for some reason. Could just be my impression from the launch.
To be expected, that being said I think the dev of Schedule 1 has made enough to have full creative freedom for a long time.
I was hoping this delayed the Cube movie from 1997.
Agreed. Realism is honestly not needed (although it’s cool that we have such games). You need good gameplay and atmosphere and ambience that give you the feeling of being in a different world so to speak.
How does it compare to Uplink in terms of gameplay. Uplink was the best simulation style hacking game that I’ve played.
Would probably be a better spot, but the final version of the CRPG icon was developed via a request on Fedigrow.
100 % of proceeds are transferred automatically to the Serhiy Prytula Humanitarian Foundation, one of Ukraine’s largest and most trusted NGOs.
This is a very reputable charity organisation. Serhiy Prytula is a well known comedian in Ukraine who has been working on charity work since the full scale invasion.
If you have more than $8 to spare there is also “Come back alive”:
Thank you!
This looks pretty cool!
I would be fine with a Piefed community.
I am assuming this refers to Fedigrow, right? Not casualconversation?
A lot of the negative reviews are about the game not being like RI1 (although there are other complaints too).
RI1 was pretty simply if you have have experience with tycoon/logistics games.
The feedback from the demo was really good.
Perhaps the change in style relative to the first one caught some people off guard.
I would say let’s wait till there are more reviews.
I am planning to get to this soon. I loved Project Highrise.
Fascinating niche community. Never knew this was a thing, but I guess I shouldn’t be surprised.
I like the daily screen posts even though I don’t play console at all.
It adds a positive vibe to the community.
Cool stuff! Curious about how voting on new rules is going to work out.
I would like to request the following communities to be added to the sidebar:
Disclaimer: I mod/curate two of these communities and contribute a lot to citybuilders.
That being said, I contribute to games@lemmy.world as well. :)
Ah, I see. Makes sense.
Cheers!
