I don’t see which food is being referred to as a “sometimes food” so I will just assume that Cookie Monster was referring to non-cookies when he said that.
For some reason, his general outlook and behaviour doesn’t exactly fill me with confidence that he takes care of his diet, even when it comes down to him theoretically having eaten something else. (Has he, ever? Like “lore-wise.” I don’t watch the Muppets, sorry.)
