The Senate just passed a bill that will let the federal and state governments investigate and sue websites that they claim cause kids mental distress. It’s a terrible idea to let politicians and bureaucrats decide what people should read and view online, but the Senate passed KOSA on a 91-3 vote....
Why would they? The democrats are the only ones who care at all about net neutrality, online privacy, etc. The GQP are not at all aligned with their mission and values. The democrats generally are. And when they aren’t, the EFF has no issue shitting on those in Congress who are part of the problem. Party be damned.
Bias is not inherently wrong or immoral. They aren’t even a media outlet. They are an advocacy group and they stick to the facts.
Im not saying the bias is wrong or incorrect. In fact, the EFF does great reporting.
But it is preferential and inclined reporting.
That’s why it’s marked as “center-left”. But it’s factual.
