Yeah, there’s no way to recover your identity once that happens. No one recognizes you and your identity is scrubbed. You are shit out of luck.

Probably try to get my identity back. I’m not trying to escape anything currently, and not having documentation is a dangerous thing in the world these days.
Claim asylum in Canada, telling them exactly what happened. And with this unstable political climate, they just might actually take my claim seriously.
