The most important part of the mobile app for me is the client side filters I can setup (muting users, communities, instances, words and phrases). I like to opt-in and opt-out of content, so I can use “All” to find news things, and “Subscribed” for a more narrow focus of interests. The second most important feature is to be able to tag users with my own client side labels, so I don’t have to remember everyone. Currently, the only app that supports PieFed, Interstellar, does not have this functionality. I like Piefed so far, very promising, but need these things for me to fully transition over.
Sorry if I sound noobish, what is PWA? Where are the controls for tagging people and filtering things, I must have missed them. I’m currently using the browser.

PieFed has all those features, if you use the browser. The PWA is fine, I use it often.

To tag someone, go to their profile, tap ‘more’, then ‘edit note’. You can use an emoji or type something.
