This isn’t one of mine, but lettuce nudibranchs are great algae eaters! Some sea slugs, like the leaf sheep (2), sea bunny slug (3), and fairy/cyerce sea slug (5), eat very specific algae and nothing else. I’ve looked into it. They’re so adorable.

Sea pigs are another honourable mention for cuteness.

Came here to say that. I lived pretty close to where the ferry to their island takes off - and they are absolutely the cutest thing I ever saw. Period.

        Nothing comes close.

I’ve never seen a white one before. I’m assuming that’s some subspecies like the North American tit, although thinking about it that might be a more orange colour.

I get that people don’t like them because they cause mischief, but I would love another universe where they were a lot more pet-friendly.

You can keep them as pets, but you can’t just take one of them from the wild.

I have lived in forested areas though in the past and they are semi-domesticated around there because people are constantly giving them food (not the best idea in the world but it happens).

They will quite happily come into your house.

haha, yeah, apparently when they’re skinny fellas they call them crab-eating raccoons… or Wikipedia does anyway haha, all the locals here just say “mapaches” without any qualifiers.

          they are also pretty chill.

they have the chunky ones living in the forest here apparently, but these sleek fellas just run all around along the coastline.
