It’s not clear why Grok decided to answer every question with information about “white genocide,” the conspiracy theory that white people are being killed off by non-white people around the world. Musk, who grew up in apartheid South Africa, has helped spread the absurd idea, but there isn’t any strong reporting yet on whether he was trying to tinker with his AI project to make it conform to his worldview.

Whoa whoa whoa… are you suggesting the white wealthy guy from South Africa, who clearly favors fascist ideals, supports Nazis, has access to a social platform AND an AI chatbot … is doing something as crazy as trying to
brainwash…dupe… influence other people into hating and fearing other groups of people?!Say it ain’t so.
There are white folk oppressed by black folk but that number is VERY small and isolated to no more than three countries, and nowhere near victims of genocide. For fuck sake, I hate how the word has been overused, I suspect that certain groups are trying to destroy and downplay the meaning of ‘genocide’ to lessen the negativity of the public’s opinion of Israel. The only real one happening is Israel wiping out Palestinians/Muslims, maybe China wiping out Muslims, but recently they’ve been tossing the word around to describe pretty much any slight violence:
Norway (This might be legitimate, but this is the only source that describes it a genocide)
The UK government used it to describe something mundane as well
“Funniest” and “Genocide” in the same headline.
