This is ancient, and it is honestly just some random blog post. I generally agree with it though. It came up because Code Pink is very upset that the “Hands Off” protests are in favor of NATO:

They wrote a whole article on it. They say some weird things, although actually I agree with quite a lot of that article. Elsewhere on their web site, they say some much weirder things. Excerpts:

It’s the old broken clock analogy.

Even someone as dangerous as Trump can see it’s time to stop the carnage in Ukraine before that war goes nuclear.

With Britain’s Prime Minister boarding a nuclear sub to shake a fist at Russia, there’s no telling where the Ukraine-Russia war will lead. That’s unless someone steps on the brakes before western European nations conduct air and sea patrols that lead to troop deployments.

The war might “go nuclear.” It might just kind of happen, out of nowhere, unless we stop sending weapons to Ukraine.

Anyway, the OP article linked up there, I feel like, is still pretty accurate as far as their honorable history in the Iraq War days and how weird they’ve gotten since then.

I actually don’t really want to provoke any kind of “enemyship” among the left. Code Pink protests are fine and populated with people wanting to do good. Just I’m saying maybe the central organization needs some constructive criticism on their geopolitics, and maybe we should hesitate to give them money or anything.
