My kid left his hoodie at school for a while. He found it in lost and found one day and put it on.
He had bed bug bites the next day.
Fortunately we lucked out, they didn’t come home with him. I imagine some bugs found his shirt in the bin, got on him, and scattered. Apparently they won’t stay on people much longer than it takes to feed.
