You might not mean it like that, but that’s what I’m hearing. I’ve been seeing variations of this sentiment since we started, with people calling communities of 10 “cozy” and using that feeling to justify wanting to keep Lemmy as a whole from growing past that.
Indeed, I don’t mean it like that. What I mean is that this specific meme makes light of a Fediverse spam campaign. So if we need spam as an impulse to create local memes … then that means a lot of spam. I was not being particularly serious though.
