The Vatican says Pope Francis is in critical condition after he suffered a long asthmatic respiratory crisis that required high flows of oxygen.

Next pope will probably be significantly worse.

This one was remarkably progressive and has infuriated nearly the entirety of conservative/reactionary Christianity. They will do everything to ensure one of them will become the next pope.

At least the German Catholic church may decide to split away from the Vatican. Their relationship is already hanging on by a thread and a reactionary pope may push it over the edge.
