      at this point they can’t even claim moral superiority over Nazis let alone a world wide rank.

      Moral and army are two words that by definition cannot go together, just pretty tokens for Israelis to feel good about their service.

      This news article is both disturbing and interesting. The people that alerted the news agency about the event are soldiers that were there. The only other witnesses are dead.

      It means there is a conflict of values inside IDF.

      I would hazzard a guess that their commander ordered it and is part of the religous-Zionism movement. It’s a newish subset of zionism that is very similar to Nazism. Only difference is who they want to kill (the list also includes non-religous Jews).
