And, the Nebraska Democratic Party committed an absolutely unforced own goal by mounting a hopeless write-in challenge to his candidacy instead of just getting behind him, because he was hurting their fee-fees by not being sufficiently obsequious. Great job, guys. A Republican senate sounds great.

Personally I hope this guy wins and is in a position to ally with some of the handful of progressive Democrats and organize a program to systematically boot the other kind into the Potomac as soon as humanly possible.
