I don’t work “traditional” hours. So it doesn’t bother when I’m called after hours. I work as needed. This week I’ll work maybe 5 hours. It’s actually busy this week. So if I’m called at 8pm. Who cares ? I have all day to run my errands.

Back when I worked in a traditional role. It drove me nuts the needless things I’d be contacted about after hours

Both. He’d pay 3 days of Washington taxes which is zero. He’d pay two for California.

The food quality is slightly down in my opinion but that’s because he went to a safer food model.

I have a friend who works at Starbucks who’s excited about the changes. He’s a manager in Las Vegas. If he does the same at Starbucks, he pushes for internal promotions. The goal was 95% of promotions were internal.

I don’t go to Starbucks often. The coffee is expensive. The stores are unwelcoming and I don’t like their coffee much.

I avoided chipotle after the food safety issues but tried it after he said he fixed it. I go 1-2 a month now

He grew the value of chipotle considerable.

Chipotle wasn’t expected to survive as a company and not only did it survive. He grew business.

This isn’t the first time he revitalized a brand. He did it at Taco Bell as well.

It sounds like his strategy at Starbucks is lowering prices, making the stores more inviting to hang out in and increase employee happiness.

We have a very mild climate historically. The last few years the summer have been really hot but the winters aren’t to bad. They don’t plow or salt the roads in the winter. When it snows and ices, the town just shuts down. It’s really weird to me having lived elsewhere.

I never knew about the limitation but the hvac guy was right. Once it went over 0. The heat kicked back on. We rarely get below zero here and that’s why they don’t installed the secondary heat source.

They also don’t work in many parts of the country without a secondary source of heat.

When it goes below zero. Mine stops working. I found it baffling but the hvac guy explained it in email.

Inflation has been a killer. It has hurt the lower class the most.
