We’re supposed to be best friends, and we decided to move in together BUUUUUUUT he’s done literally everything he can to prove he’s selfish.

And when he’s called out on it he will Deny he did anything, Deflect and say I’m the one that’s overreacting and then if i stand my ground he whispers an apology at a volume where i cannot hear him even though he’s within arm’s reach.

We had a talk where i told him rooming with people is difficult because in every situation I’ve been in the roommates have always been antagonistic and selfish. Told him all the things past roommates have done that crippled the living situation and he he has done all of it. But it’s supposed to be okay as long as he claims “it was a joke” or “we’re bffs I’d never do anything to hurt you.”

Edit: i know you’re making a joke but some of us can’t survive without a roommate to split bills with because not every job pays enough, and they basically laugh when we ask for a raise. I worked at a retail store 2 years ago that gasped when i told them 4-8hrs of work a week isn’t enough for anything.

Just looked him up: he died at age 23 :'( too soon for anyone. I hope he lived a good life. Seems he did given he was a beloved animator.

Put my PC to sleep, then i go to sleep. 3am rolls around and my PC turns on and sits at the log-in screen.

This seems to be an issue only after windows 7 for me. It can’t be updating because there’s nothing happening when i check on the windows update, and it will do this all night until i unplug the damn thing. Then i get a couple months of this issue not appearing.

Didn’t know about alt+esc. I’ll try that next time and see if it does the job. Thank you!

Edit: yup! This works without having to deal with the start menu.

Yeah, of course! Some full screen programs, mostly games, will not let you tab out to the desktop, so i use the windows key to open the start menu which also pops up the taskbar so i can swap to something else.

Having worked for Walmart this sometimes happens, and the managers would usually honor the shelf tag.

In the instances of a tag supposedly being cheaper by $30+ i would tell the customer “i will call over a manager, but you’ll need to pretend to be angry or they might say no.” Which, from my experience, is usually what happened. Nice customers would get told the store can’t honor it while someone throwing a temper tantrum would save money. Ridiculous.

Wanting to see something plausible but not finding it on a site full of influencer trash doesn’t make me aware that it’s not possible. It just shows that the things available are implausible because of obvious flaws they do show.

Awhile back i heard of something called The Dark Knight Satellite but i think that was passed off as some sort of space debris that was locked within our gravitational pull. I’ll keep digging around, but a lot of UFO stuff is very limited like you said because the government likes things taken down if it seems real.
