I blame Obama (and now, Biden) for continuing to expand the powers of the executive office instead of undoing Bush’s expansions. The president isn’t supposed to be this powerful. People like trump are the reason why.

Dial back bush and Obama’s expansions of executive power. The office of the president isn’t supposed to be powerful enough that someone like trump can do so much damage.
He could have said something far more professional
He’s Donald Trump. No he couldn’t.
The move follows an open letter by three Palestinian LGBTQ+ organisations
Interesting. Supposed Palestinian maltreatment of lgbtq is a pretty common talking point among the pro-israel crowd. Do these organizations operate within Palestine or are they expats?
Civics are amazing in the level of snow Connecticut gets if you have the right tires
You’re teaching me a lot about victimization complexes
Does the B stand for Bizzle?
Mianus, Connecticut liked this
Step 1 is to want to learn instead of getting defensive and acting like a douche when someone tells you something you didn’t know.
I’m not criticizing you for misunderstanding it as a kid. You’re not a kid anymore. You just said, as an adult, that the only reference was a single line with the word Neil in it. That’s wrong. If you can’t handle being corrected when you say something wrong maybe the internet isn’t for you.
Well, I heard Mr. Young sing about her
Well, I heard old Neil put her down
Well, I hope Neil Young will remember
A Southern man don’t need him around, anyhow
I get that you were a kid when you first heard it, but it’s absolutely all laid out in plain English. They even referenced the song itself.
It was 9/11 butterfly effect. The US’s wars caused a refugee crisis, xenophobes across North America and Europe got their panties in a bunch about all the new brown people, turned to nationalism. New (and popular) authoritarian anti terrorism laws probably didn’t help either.
He was ordered not to go within 1,000 feet of a polling place unless he is there to vote
Fuck that. Make him vote by mail.
When I learned that “Sweet Home Alabama” was in bitter response to Neil Young’s “Southern Man”
You didn’t learn that the first time you heard the song, where its laid out plainly in the lyrics?
Well, you see, someone can be a bad candidate and still be better than the worst candidate. Being better than trump doesn’t make her good. Most people are better than trump. You don’t get a cookie for that.
I love this, it’s brilliant
Trolling is about trying to make others upset.
This is wrong. Trolling is about attention. Making others upset is an easy way to get attention but it’s not the only one. Gimmick accounts are another, for example.
It’s a good reason to vote for her, but it’s nothing special. Most people aren’t trump. Nixon wasn’t trump. I’d vote for Nixon over trump. That doesn’t mean he’d be a good president.
Pronouns are generic by nature. A custom pronoun that applies to one person and only one person isn’t a pronoun, it’s a noun.
I live in a state where the presidential race is locked in, and has been for my entire life. I know which party is going to take all of our electoral votes, every single time, no matter what I do. If I vote for a third party and help them get 20% of the popular vote (however unlikely that is) they’ll be guaranteed a spot in the debates and on the ballots of all 50 states in 4 years. Its the only way for my vote to potentially matter at all.
