GDI, pods seemed really good on the surface: liquid detergent with less water to reduce the amount of carbon used to transport it.
I’m no material scientist but I suspect they probably could have made pods out of materials which are actually biodegradable under normal conditions but chose to use this liquid plastic junk instead to save a buck.

Microsoft’s growth mindset is no more problematic than Amazon’s leadership principles or any of the other corporate pillars we inevitably need to phrase our accomplishments around in order to get hired/promoted. They’re all the same pseudoscientific MBA BS that’s been permeating the industry for years.
This article could have been written about just about any large tech company with the same concerns and conclusions.
There are 801 billionaires in the US out of about 335,893,238 people. If everyone else were to reduce their carbon footprint by even a tenth of a percent then there would be significantly less carbon in the atmosphere than if every billionaire in the US were to reduce their carbon footprint to zero.
Thankfully we can bypass the politicians and implement a better voting system via citizen ballot initiatives in most states. Maine and Alaska have already adopted ranked choice voting via ballot initiatives.
You can mostly remove the toxins by boiling these but they’re still mildly toxic and aren’t generally considered tasty. Plus the cap is sticky so it usually has a layer of dirt and moss growing on it.

Newgrounds or Ebaum’s World must have made some money from ads, but I don’t think any of that was profit-shared with the creators back in those days.
Ebaums actually decompiled flash animations to remove watermarks added by the creators just so they could keep all the ad revenue for themselves.

You can’t moderate women’s perspectives getting constantly downvoted while men’s get upvoted. I doubt any of the comments OP mentioned actually violate any rules but getting ten comments ignorantly telling you you’re wrong whenever you share your perspective tends to make one feel unwelcome even if the comments are all technically civil.
The FCC has no authority over cable, they can only regulate content on public airwaves.
