2 days agoSome of us care enough to bring back the 3.5mm headphone jack. HiFi enthusiasts like me despise bluetooth, and USB-C audio headphones or adapters are low quality trash too.

Ideally there would be zero bluetooth support and this would be catered to the HIFI crowd, with only 3.5mm jack supported.
At least until we get a HIFI successor to bluetooth.
I brings back the headphone jack and high quality analog audio for those of us who care enough.

Yeah I’m pretty excited about that, even if the layout is a bit wonky and the key sizes are a one-off (the left and right most fat “1u” keys look more like 1.25u so it might be a bit hard to get a custom keycap set going for it.
Ha those were fun! I had one and it became the dedicated Pandora music player for the kitchen for a few years.

2·10 days agoWhen I click to post the comment, I get a loading circle gif that just spins forever. Tried waiting it out for a few minutes but nothing happens.
And to my knowledge lemmy doesnt do shadow bans so I would at keast know if I had been banned there.
Edit: previously I cleared cache, tried different browsers and devices, logged out and in again, nothing worked. I also just tested and I can’t create posts from lemmy.world account either.
Edit2: looks like it was related to VPN use and some flagging of my session/connection, maybe cloudflare on lemmy.world

Yeah makes sense.
I guess I’m wanting Tangara to cater to the HIFI crowd, and add more HIFI capabilities, file support, something to compete with devices like these: https://slrpnk.net/post/17871660/13529567
Which isn’t mutually exclusive with having WIFI and Bluetooth connectivity.
