If someone tells you something, that something does not get repeated without asking for permission first. People don’t have to say “can I tell you this in confidence?” Absolutely everything is kept in confidence.

The fact that an article like this came from Mother Jones is absolutely fascinating.

Dumb? Possibly. Do you think you gain or lose voters by calling much of America deplorable? How about, calling them racist? Nazis? Do any of those things attract people to your side of the fence?

And this is why there are so many Trump voters.

When you call the cops you’re calling people who can kill you with impunity and get a paid vacation for doing so. Just say no to calling the cops.

My answer may not quite fit the topic. But I’ll share anyway.

In the late 20-teens, ZZ Top and John Fogerty we’re touring together. My wife and I saw them on the Jersey Shore (thanks VetTix!) and Fogerty opened the show and absolutely killed it. Then ZZ Top played and Billy Gibbons just didn’t have it anymore. We left early.

Several weeks later they played Jones Beach Amphitheatre and thanks to VetTix we got to go again. Once again Fogerty knocked it out of the park and Billy was just not up to snuff.

It was sad.

Interestingly, Billy Gibbons is featured on one of the tracks of Slash’s new album Orgy of the Damned. That track is the perfect fit for Gibbons and it holds together beautifully.

This was a fascinating read.

The right told me herd immunity would protect me. They were wrong. The left told me the vax world protect me. They too were wrong.

In December I got COVID for the 4th time. Yes I’m vaxxed. No I’m not boosted.

Prior to this bout I was working out 30 minutes a day. Since this bout I can barely climb a flight if stairs without getting winded.

It really sucks.

I hope they can all find people who will love them.

How hard is it not to cheat? And if you’re gonna cheat at least don’t be so obvious about it good grief.

I really want to move my domain from Google to Proton, but family accounts at Proton are so dang expensive. Fastmail is far cheaper than Google, so that looks like it might be a really good option.

Republicans have no say under section 1. President Biden says “I’m out” and Vice President Harris becomes President. Congress has no say, the Senate had no say, nobody has any say but the President and the Vice President.

The President could give a reason, or he could choose not to do so.

The only time Congress is involved is under Section 4.

Section 1 covers everything from “Take this job and shove it” to “I’m tired and want to spend more time with my family”

I repeat Congress has no say. There is no political debate. There is simply “I’m out, you’re in.”
