33·9 days agoWell you see, the government can’t provide bare necessities for all people even though it’s cheaper than putting homeless people in prison because if they did, then the rich people would lose their precious reserve army of labor, and how else are they going to convince people to work for less under worse conditions?
Not only is he white, but he’s rich. The double whammy of societal acceptance.
5·13 days agoI don’t own a VR headset, but I thought SteamVR worked fine on Linux. Gamescope even has specific VR modes.
There’s Windows 11 IoT LTSC if you really need Windows, but Microsoft is going to continue to fuck its users, and I don’t know why people in the know would choose to continue to use an OS that’s actively working against them when non-corporate, open source alternatives exists (Linux, or for the more niche people, BSD, Haiku, Redox)
352·24 days agoThe fact that the Supreme Court gave themselves the ability to effectively unilaterally write federal laws with Marbury v Madison was already massively overstepping bounds and the concept of checks and balances.
We need to overturn Marbury v Madison.
