Unless they (somehow) get an amendment through, Musk is not eligible to be president. He wasn’t born a citizen of the US.

The tortoise lays on its back, its belly baking in the hot sun, beating its legs trying to turn itself over, but it can’t, not without your help. But you’re not helping. Why is that?

Trump wouldn’t offer even the token pushback that Biden has, and would likely ramp up the payments and weapons supplied to Israel.
When he was president before, he already massively cut aid to Gaza, and would probably do so again.

No, that’s the point of a dog whistle. Those in the know understand, and they don’t want outsiders to notice. One of the best ways to combat these people is to let everyone in on their “secret” codes, so we can see exactly who is putting their hat in with the Nazis.
The Lady Astronaut series by Mary Robinette Kowal. The first book is called The Calculating Stars. Basically, an alternate history where (spoiler for the opening chapter) ::: spoiler spoiler a meteor wipes out the east coast and kick-starts climate change, causing the Space Age to start 10 years early. ::: It follows a Jewish computer (a woman who literally runs calculations for NASA, as seen in Hidden Figures) who wants to become an astronaut, and her struggles with the racism and misogyny of the 1950s.
The only reason this happens is because our system is so weird. In every other country, funding is automatic and doesn’t need to be authorized separately. The fix is to switch to a similar setup. Of course, that will never happen, as it would take away this bludgeon the GOP uses to try to get its way.

It’s because it was from Davis. He interrupted her constantly, including times when she was about to tell him it was his turn to talk. He didn’t interrupt Muir almost at all.

The American version of Christianity has decided that a fetus is a person, and as such that an abortion is murder. They make it this emotional issue so that people don’t think too hard about it and just reflexively think “I can’t support murder!”
This is despite the Bible pretty explicitly defining life as beginning at the first breath, and treating causing a miscarriage as property damage.
It’s part and parcel of the Republican party essentially taking over the church and getting people to equate “Republican” with “Christian”.
