“Please help exonerate us! We totally had the right to shoot someone because they didn’t pay $3.50!”

Clearly you haven’t been looking for a job lately…
No wonder I’ve only had 4 interviews in 9 months. The job application process is fucking ridiculous right now.
Essentially what it comes down to is that the manufacturers don’t have to give you the experimental treatments. You can request them, but there’s nothing forcing them to comply with your request.
Why does every “anchor” on Fox News have that certain diction/inflection where it’s like they’re asking a question and ending it mid-sentence, but then decided to continue? I thought it was specific to Tucker, but I guess not
Agreed, this is the dumbest thing ever. I get that they’re trying to make them look bad, but I’m sure over half the people with kids have told their young child to shut the hell up when they’re on the phone with someone “important”.
You know he’d completely fuck up the answer and go on ranting about migrants crossing the border, inflation, how smart he is and other rants. In previous interviews on Fox News they have handed him simple questions on a platter which were written to make him look like a good guy…and he completely screws it up and makes him self look like an idiot. It’s actually pretty hilarious.
… A simple “No” would have be fine.
Because our legal system is fucked and is a mess of loopholes if something isn’t present in a certain fashion.
"L’Oréal objected on the basis they owned the Urban Decay make-up brand which has a range of eye shadow palettes called Naked. “I was very surprised because we have never been Naked. We’re spelled NKD, we are pronounced N, K, D.”
This is pretty ballsy in L’Oreal’s part, and pretty damn ridiculous.
That’s more like it. I got laid off last year after 5 years. I work in IT and trying to find a job in my field is a miserable process. They’ll string you along for weeks and then be like “no thanks”. The application process is a nightmare as well.
Haha yep, it’s a big point of pride for him that his cognitive functions are intact 🤣
🫲 I mix the best drinks. People have told me, “Donald, this is the best mixed drink I’ve ever had in my life!” and then they fell to their knees and started crying. 🫱
He said he wants to challenge her to one, and I just thought of the Knowledge Challenge between Billy and Eric in Billy Madison.
I DID NOT need to see this as I was scrolling through Lemmy this afternoon. What the fuck is wrong with people? I’d happily burn this person alive.
Yep, it snitches on other cars!
I’d pay to watch this debate 😂
As an American, I clicked purely because I was curious about her “Bath bag” thinking that she was publicly taking a shower or something, not that it was the city of Bath haha
Haha yep, he keeps clinging to that.
The thing that annoys me the most is how it cares about whitespace/carriage returns. I remember back in college when I was taking a CS class, learning Python and writing the Code on a Windows PC, emailing it to myself, and then attempting to run the code on Linux. Before I learned about the carriage return conversions, I remember having to rewrite about 75 lines of code before I got it to run. 🤬
