Please note that there is a distinct difference between socialism and communism. You seem to be describing communism. Within a socialistic system there is still the concept of rich and poor and there is still the ability to create a better life through the effort of development. This specifically is the key distinction between socialism and capitalism.
So what you’re calling “socialist capitalism” turns out (funnily enough) to be just socialism which is in turn a capitalistic communism. :)
I dont think al of the people that voted for the annoying orange agree with the fascistic tendencies. It’s probably an unhealthy mix of suicidals and depressed people, angry people, fascists, idiots and morons. Neither of these are mutually exclusive of course.
Or they don’t care. Don’t underestimate how self destructive depression can be.

Well of course Atlantis is beyond the mountain ring! The preposterous notion here is that it isn’t located in the Abysall sea. Like, the whole point of Atlantis is that it was swallowed by the abyssal sea. Our ancestors then named our Atlantic ocean as a remembrance to Atlantis when refugees from the sunken world came from beyond the ice wall. They then went on to kickstart the European renaissance and industrial revolution to get us to where we are today. We couldn’t have achieved such an amazing development without the superior engineering the Atlantic refugees thought out ancestors.

But that’s not the European way of doing things! First we wait till the problem is big enough that it can’t be ignored anymore, then we start discussing if we should do anything about it.
Due to this we now have significant problems with our outdated infrastructure though. So incase other countries want to follow the Dutch example, please don’t neglect your energy infrastructure! We have situations where building projects (both industrial and residential) have to wait months for a connection to the energy grid which creates it’s own giant mess of problems.

Well yes, I’ve installed one as well and told it to act like Marvin from a hitch hikers guide to the galaxy. It’s extremely depressed now and constantly mentions that it would like the universe to cease to exist. It seems to hate me as well.
