Forced impregnation is rape no?
Forced impregnation is rape no?
No it’s not. Both the trolley problem and the prisoners dilemma are individual event thought experiments.
Real life is different, it is continuous. The rational choice for an individual event can be very different than a continuous one.
Take the prisoner’s dilemma (or game theory) for instance, it is the rational decision (nash equilibrium) to rat your fellow prisoner out but if you have to do it again and again, then the best strategy is to NOT rat out your fellow prisoner (only rat when they ratted you out in the last round).
Reality is often like this, and elections are also like this. It gets complicated real fast.
Not really, if you just gather all the people you commit atrocities against, and send them to the middle east, you might get away with it. Hell you might even claim to be a bastion of peace and freedom.
Some more ideas:
Call the people you sent “civilized” against “barbarians”
Call them “the only democracy” in the middle east (you might need to overthrow some government in the nearby regions)
Commit more atrocities so more and more people go to your “solution”.

But they are not social creatures, so if they were, even when they died someone in the social group could still teach the youngs
I recently asked a friend of mine something similar and i will add it here for the sake of discussion.
We need to fulfill our basic needs in order to be happy and content with life. There are 3 basic/main categories:
1: bodily needs: better diet, exercise etc.
2: mental needs: intellectual conversation/pondering, reading/writing a book, even playing some video games etc.
3: spiritual needs: religion/hope for a better time and better place
I would also add one more,
4: social needs: spending time with friends and family, doing something for the community, relationships and dating etc.
Since my friend and I are religious, 3 makes sense on its own. But you might need to think about what it means to you. Imo the most important part is having hope.
Personally for me, its 1 and 4 that i struggle the most with. And in the end, its okay to be wrong and try different things and formulas to find what works best for you.
Don’t be afraid to make mistakes! You live and you learn!
I think his knowledge was lacking, he did have wisdom to first put enough effort in searching for it and then once he realized, he admitted to it.
I really thought by making intentional mistakes in my comment people would be able to see the OBVIOUS sarcasm, but I guess not…
Did you even read my comment? Im not saying there are gas chamber level thing happening in gaza, i used it as an analogy
This is a by-product of modern society (maybe late stage capitalism). We need to be sold a “solution” to a problem. Reducing consumption is not something that can easily be sold hence these carbon capture, recycling plastic “solutions”.
Unless someone can make money off of it, reducing emissions is going to be difficult.
Thats actually a tool of genocide. The whole point of creating the gas chambers was to create an efficient genocide machine. The guards who took the prisoners to the chambers were different from guards who took the bodies. The guards who interacted with the prisoners weren’t allowed to decide who got to live and who did not.
All in all, the chambers gave the guards a sense of “we are just following orders” feeling thus lessening their guilt. Because no matter how cruel it is, the humans will feel guilt.
The calling for evacuation is also a similar tool to lessen the guilt of the soldiers. Afterall, those people who died were told to evacuate therefore their death is on their hands.
I think germany is still in denial, i think part of the reason why germany is so opposed to even acknowledge palestinian genocide is because, to acknowledge it, is to acknowledge that the “israel solution” was inadequate.
On its core, the rise of hitler and persecution of jews were a result of racism. The economy fell and people started to blame the jews, it could just as easily have been another minority group.
You can actually see a similar behaviour in modern day germany, The economy went downhill because of a series of bad decisions before covid (over reliance on russian oil, closing all nuclear plants etc.) And the german population started to align themselves with neo nazi (like AfD), as evident from the last election. Neo-nazism now blames immigrants for all the german troubles.
Clearly whatever steps Germany (and the west in general) took, including the creation of israel, were not enough.
Feel free to correct me if i am wrong about anything.
The belford declaration was signed for 3 reasons:
the christians at the time thought that by sending jews to the holy land will bring forth their messiah and the world will end.
europe (including britain) had a lot of anti-semites, and the creation of israel meant that there would be less jews in europe.
britain wanted a buffer state/intermediate state between themselves and india so they can influence and subjugate those regions more effectively.
The only jew in the british parliament opposed both the declaration and herzl’s idea of zionism. In fact jewish community themselves opposed zionism but then hitler came to power which caused many jews to change their opinions.
You forgot a ‘not’ in there — German government
He wants money/power, and he is getting it. The rest of the AI field will forever be haunted by his greed.
The saddest part is, this is going to cause yet another AI winter. The first few ones were caused by genuine over-enthusiasm but this one is purely fuelled by greed.
You just haven’t tried OpeningAI’s latest orione model. A company employee said it is soooo smart, can you believe it? And the government is like, goddamn we are so scareded of it. Im telling you AGI december 2024, you’ll will see!
Edit:
Is it so hard for people to see sarcasm?
If you use android, just use adguard private dns. It will get rid of third party apps ads. For youtube you need revanced or newpipe
Why are americans so fuckin dumb? Instead of pointing their fingers at millions of trump voters, they are pointing it at people with empathy for having anti-genocider stance.
It feels like they are just interested in finding a scapegoat to blame rather than asking the real questions, why did so many people voted for trump? Did kamala, despite having more funding, failed to convey her plan? What happened and why it happened and how can it be avoided?
