However crazy, i still expect him to win the lawsuit.
I was trying to say that. Seeing others puts a ‘narrative’ that is different from theirs in your own head, because you see with your own eyes. Everybody still needs to adress all incoming information, it’s not always apparent it is a false story.
Intense violent changes are more suited for writing stories about than gradual non-violent changes. I’m not saying gradual non-violent changes is what US needs right now, but your statement is false and I think you should stop instigating violence in this thread.
5 million people are doing something, your comment is shitting on their effort.
there’s also immense value is reminding people that they’re not as singular in their viewpoint as they feel.
This destroys the narrative of the protested party. They cannot convincingly talk about ‘a few misguided people disagreeing’ when you see so many others who feel like you. Even if nothing would be achieved by the protest, this is an immensely powerful confirmation of an individuals beliefs. 100% agree.
The headline makes it sound like this is a problem in all of Europe, while the article itself is writes about how Italian journalists are likely being targeted by the Italian government. Georgia Meloni often gets a pass because she works together with other European leaders, but she is (almost) as fascist as Orbán and Vučić. Le Pen, PiS, AfD the list of like-minded politicians is long and we cannot and should not allow them to target independent journalists or abuse publicly funded media to further their anti-democratic agenda.
I don’t downvote them, but I am quick to judge someone is just looking for attention. Negative attention is still attention. I do not bother to check whether my assumption is correct and also don’t judge them, but just don’t want to get involved. I can imagine someone else chooses not to ignore but to downvote. I also wouldn’t upvote someone’s suicidal thoughts, so maybe I just don’t know how to deal with it either way
WASHINGTON (AP) — Health officials want you to think twice before buying one of those brightly colored little bottles often sold at gas stations, convenience stores and smoke shops.
Sometimes called “gas station heroin,” the products are usually marketed as energy shots or cognitive supplements but actually contain tianeptine, an unapproved drug that can be addictive and carries risks of serious side effects.
U.S. poison control centers have reported a steady rise in calls linked to the drug for more than a decade. And last month the Food and Drug Administration sent a warning to health professionals about “the magnitude of the underlying danger or these products.”
Real headline: White House slams ‘utter failure’ of anti-Trump protests as America celebrates Army’s historic milestone
They arent protesting the tourists, but the industry. There is a lot of things wrong with the tourism industry, but a big is them buying up houses to rent out to tourists, which increases the value of houses. Youre comment is like telling many people live in houses after a protest against abusive landlords.
The EU really needs to make a decision: act like you’re the good guys while fooling no one because you are buying weapons from the bad guys or actually be the good guys and not fund genocide.
My guy
You are right. But also not very motivating.

Yet to date, there has been no explanation as to who is responsible for spying on these journalists. The attacks occurred in early 2025.
AP mentions the Italian government might be behind it, they don’t offer any proof but can’t imagine they’d make such aligation without reason.
ROME (AP) — Spyware from a U.S.-backed Israeli company was used to target the phones of at least three prominent journalists in Europe, two of whom are editors at an investigative news site in Italy, according to digital researchers at Citizen Lab, citing new forensic evidence of the attacks.
The findings come amid a growing questions about what role the government of Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni may have played in spying on journalists and civil society activists critical of her leadership, and raised new concerns about the potential for abuse of commercial spyware, even in democratic countries.
