two police officers pursued this man up three flights of stairs and confronted him on the station platform. Police say the man pulled out a knife. Both officers opened fire on the man, piercing him with several bullets, while also striking two bystanders; one of the officers was hit with friendly fire. One of the bystanders, a 49-year-old man, is in critical condition in the hospital from a bullet wound to the head.

And yet he’s on course for a landslide election victory. I don’t understand people.

Israel has shown again and again that it doesn’t care how many civilians it kills. Like any fascist state, it wears its lack of compassion with pride.

I fully believe there are Jewish people who are against this. However, the history books will focus on the acts of the IDF and not the vocal minority.

Minority of what? There are polls of Jews in the UK and USA that show a majority disapproving of Israel’s current government.

I wonder whether they exploded exactly at the same time. If so, it seems less likely it would have been an attack via the batteries since you wouldn’t expect them all to heat up and explode at the exact same rate.

Well would you look at that: they make no distinction between demanding the university cut ties with Israel, “hatred for Israel”, “hatred of the world’s only Jewish nation” and “vile Jew-hatred”. So for them there’s no gap between asking for pressure to stop Israel’s active genocide and hating all Jews. It’s so absurd and such a blatant attempt at political gaslighting they don’t deserve to be taken seriously.

Well, that’s a little bit of a relief. But only a little bit.

Just today I have read about Republicans calling immigrants “animals” and “illegal human locusts,” and now Trump is calling for a “final solution” to the “Immigrant Problem.” This is straight up Nazism, right out in the open, and we’ll all suffer if they are given power.

Because they have undue power over our lives.

Conservatives in many countries have realized that since their political program serves the few at the expense of the many, it is inherently revolting to most people, so they can only win support by deceit and distraction.

Come on, it’s not like she murdered someone rich.
