I would want to recommend to see if there’s not some community lab somewhere around you, chemicals are bit messy and many of them are not that long lasting either and then it may be a bit risky to still use it. I think it makes a lot of sense to share this stuff.

I was using diafine developer at home, because it has a long shelf life (rodinal too) and it pushes the films quite a bit, I was keen to be able to shoot fast shutter speeds. Also is quite fool proof. Now I am a member of some maker space kinda thing with a photo lab, have yet to use it though, really went digital in the last … decade really 😅 But I want to make use of it soon.

I tried to attract some crows to my balcony, but they seem real shy. I know they pick up peanuts at some other place in the yard. The daily peanut I lay out was only once collected by a crow (that I saw), then the jay took over.

Yes, very much worth it, can make a big difference. Even though i turned to buy my local store’s brand, I saw that they were rated very highly in a canned tomatoes test and they really taste good.

I was just at ulassai in sardegna, and while it was crazy hot, a lot of the climbing rocks there are in some narrow gorges which were refreshingly cool. Pretty cool place. But I did not climb, just walked around while taking a break from a cycling trip. Thankfully it cooled down a bit now.

I thought all crows like peanuts, but the zero scare crow was only playing around with the one i gave it. I cracked one open and it pecked at the nut but did not eat. Wanted to be fed though but peanuts was all I had. Maybe too young.
