Yeah, put this way, this sounds like greedy shit bags saying vote this way or else.
What the fuck man

I’m kinda with you on this. It seems like quite a number of the cases they’re taking on are to make their mark on condoning fascism and oppression.
Not to detract from said law, but you’d think our reps would have more important issues to deal with domestically
The cable giant is also selling the streaming service bundled with its cable service or with its recently released streaming bundle that combines Comcast’s Peacock with Netflix, Apple TV+, and ads for $15/month.
We have closed the loop, officially coming full circle. And what an absolute shocker, Comcast is right smack in the middle of it.
As far as I can tell, yup. And by official, it basically means anything done while in office, so he could theoretically walk out onto Pennsylvania Avenue, spray a group of protestors holding signs with an M16, and walk back inside with no legal repercussions.
They probably sell them dirt cheap domestically, no need for coercion
It gets more hate because it’s owned by a Chinese company that more than likely shares data with the CCP. I assume you live in a western nation, so it’s basically the result of propaganda. Perhaps it’s warranted, perhaps not, but that’s why.
It’s ironic because everyone flips out that China is vacuuming up information, as if the US government isn’t doing the same thing. If you think the US govt snoops that data only to keep you safe, I have a bridge to sell you.
This was for bootloader locking, not carrier locking. But yeah, they want you to buy their bullshit hotspot plan instead of just using the data you already pay for.
Oh there’s a reason. Hotspot bypass being a big one I’d wager, the other being making it significantly harder to avoid ads
Thanks Yoda
I don’t understand how he lives with himself.
Must’ve been asleep for the recall shenanigans
I know Hulu has an annual billing option where they won’t prorate your bill if you cancel mid term, but I don’t know if there are any that just flat out won’t let you cancel.
Imo that’s pretty much the only benefit these days. But I’m also waiting for those 1 year, 2 year, etc “deals” where they offer $1/mo off or something
I definitely read that in Little Nicky’s speech impediment
Well, perhaps the wording should be amended to encompass all public employees. But that would require the law be rewritten by the people that benefit from it, so, yeah.
So that means that I can engage in a a little tax evasion, as a treat, right?
On a serious note, from the article:
the law makes it a very serious crime, punishable by up to 15 years in prison, for a federal official to accept a bribe
Can we start actually enforcing this please?
On an unrelated note, I’m usually not disappointed with Popeyes. I don’t eat it enough to have a basis for comparison, and my expectations are low enough for fast food that I’m usually pleasantly surprised.
