It was really strange. Thankfully things were slightly better by the 90s when the central division was added, but that still had weird groupings like Houston/Pittsburgh (or Miami/Montreal).

While I do love prismacolor (mentioned in the other reply), if you’re looking to save a little bit of money, I enjoy Derwent Coloursoft. They are wax based, so they do have limits on layering; however they go down easy and blend well up until that point.
(To avoid amazon, I’d order from dick blick or another art supply store)
Same for apps and sites. Having to explain to someone multiple times that I’m not trying to force their users to be bilingual just because there is “lorem ipsum” text on the page is rough.
For me, the crazy takeaway of the article was just how high the acceptable level of lead is for toothpaste (the current FDA limit is 20,000ppb for fluoridated toothpaste).
If you’re in a union already, that is not something that can generally be asked about by management, both at hiring or during your employment. Being in a union is not the same as being in a unionized workplace.
When employees of a store/factory/etc decide to unionize, there’s a point at which a specific larger union can be chosen to represent them (AFL-CIO, IBEW, Teamsters, etc). If successful, this is what allows for collective bargaining led by a union representative.
If this offends your sensibilities then I can’t wait until you look at what someone did to C:

It is sad that this guy just can’t let go.
Honestly though, if he can preemptively put sufficient funds into escrow dedicated to managing all aspects of the site and engineering plans for digging with minimal perturbation of each waste cell, then let him have it*.
(* Escrow amount should be approximately $780m)
The exception of allowing more meat (or specifically allowing any number of meals with meat) for the sick was a part of the rule of Benedict. Also predating the Templar there was already an exception for twice baked meat not counting as meat, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Oh man, that sounds like you’re referring to the one in Missouri. I riled up a number of folks that way.
Oh man, I love Noita so much, but it can be so difficult at times.
To be fair, GPS apps have some limitations that can cause this at times. I’d love it if an early voice alert could tell me if an exit is on the left or right side of the highway or how the exit split is organized way in advance of it happening.
And many of the elves preferred the cover of dense forests, caves, or both.
Original looks like it might be this from 2017: https://www.tumblr.com/teathattast/168004157815
Went to a mediocre high school in the US, and I had an English/writing course where the only materials were the Aeneid, Illiad, Odyssey, and Mythology by Edith Hamilton.
Time to sing “Caga tió” and beat a log until it gives us sweet treats…
For those unaware, this is a scene from the Silmarillion (Fingolfin fighting Morgoth). An epic flight of an elf taking on a demigod.
It’s so good, but I’m a bit sad that my current playthrough from last week can’t load into 1.0…
If you’re referring to being blind to the plot specifically (but not what style of game it is), then my list is:
I like the detail of this map better, though it is still overly broad (not accounting for AAVE or other minority groups, and not differentiating on age): https://aschmann.net/AmEng/
Not a map, but if you want better spoken examples of various accents and dialects, this is a great source: https://www.dialectsarchive.com/united-states-of-america
We’re all secretly longing for the macbook wheel that was leaked over 15 years ago:
