When someone I’ve gifted food to sends me a message later in the day telling me the food, bread, whatever was sensational. It tells me that I’ve nailed their food preferences and tastes. I’ve done a good job.

Food is my love language and it’s how I like to say thank you and show appreciation.

This shows how much I didn’t enjoy the second one - I couldn’t even remember if there was one or two sequels, but I do remember there was supposedly another instalment in the works.

I only liked the first one. The ones after weren’t so good.

Is back stitching for cross stitching the same as back stitching for amigurumi? I’ve always been fascinated by them and admire what you can do with string to create something like that!

Aww, thanks for sharing that, that’s lovely. I’ve read the Tale of Peter Rabbit when I was a kid, too, but back then, I wouldn’t have remembered any authors, just the stories. 😅

Thank you! I enjoy back stitching, so I take my time with it and try to get all of the lines to be straight and match up. It was a kit I got off of a seller on Etsy. Someone above posted the link to the direct manufacturer, but there are lots of resellers online.

Thank you! I was a lurker on FB, and I was surprised at how many people were quite vocal negatively about back stitching. For me, it signifies the final touch so it is pretty satisfying regardless of how difficult it might be.
