the wise man bowed his head solemnly and spoke: “theres actually zero difference between good & bad things. you imbecile. you fucking moron”
Wait, I thought .ml was part of the tankie triad
Maybe it’s pedantic to point this out, but I seriously doubt anything humans can do would be able to wipe out all life on Earth, and I include nuclear weapons in that. Microbes can live in some crazy environments, and it only takes one surviving for life to persist and evolve into new species.
Human beings, on the other hand, and especially human civilization as we know it, well…
Ok this would actually be pretty cool, if it works
Wheresyoured.at has a bunch of takes like this already (not that you shouldn’t write your own, just that it’s a useful source for more references)
Cradle by Will Wight is both really good and a lot of fun to read, in my opinion. In a similar genre, Beware of Chicken by “Casualfarmer” is very enjoyable as well.
Also, a little darker, especially in setting, but somehow not a depressing story in spite of that, Naomi Novik’s Scholomance trilogy is also excellent.
Not familiar with this new terminology; I usually just call them “pigs” to avoid confusion, but I suppose calling cops “rats” does make sense. You don’t usually see mainstream British newspapers introducing new slang terms like that, but hey, stranger things have happened, right?
