Is there any open source app on android that supports rcs?
Yes, you install them through desktop mode then load them into steam as a non steam game. Then they’ll show up in game mode. There’s also a decky plugin that easily lets you add artwork for the steam entry
Only thing I know of is the lead dev has a mastodon account (dansup) where he’s pretty active
Loops is new and still in beta. The dev has said that he wants to wait to open source it until he feels it’s current state is ready to be on other people’s servers (once it reaches 1.0). I can’t say I agree with the thought process but at least with pixelfed he did the same process and actually followed through on federation and open sourcing

Organic maps is the goat, looking forward to their linux build becoming more stable
This is the initial release of their beta, I would’ve been very surprised if it had upload capabilities
Pretty sure it’s not removed, they just aren’t accepting any changes from the developer for the 6.13 cycle
Anyone have any comparisons of this to Ardour?
As a developer writing code who used windows to ssh to linux servers I would disagree. But of course it depends on the company and the nature of the work, just offering my experience
Every place I’ve been at had developers using windows machines and then ssh into a linux environment
Split keyboards are niche enough that the cheapest option I found was building it myself (with pcbs by jclpcb). Ones I looked at are corne, cheapino, lily58, and ferris sweep but I settled on the chocofi and have been loving it
Edit: my goal was to find something “corne-like” as there seems to be good resources for it and I wanted to try the miryoku firmware
A decentralized marketplace would honestly be pretty sick as long as they can figure out how to ensure people don’t’t get scammed
Can I ask why you say Mastodon isn’t a good twitter alternative and maybe what it could do to improve? Sorry if I missed that part in the article
They set up a commission with gog if you buy games through heroic
The reason for that is due to their encryption, you need something from them at some point to actually decrypt emails before they reach your device. If you’re on linux you can look at the hydroxide and peroxide projects on github
I was under the impression that infinitime was more of a community effort than a pine64 effort?
As a current user of ranger could this be a full replacement?
Personally I think it’d be super cool to see some platform independent handhelds rather than something like a gog deck or an epic deck. I’ve fankensteined SteamOS to be that way but it def still prioritizes steam which ain’t great
