I’d just like to interject for a moment. What you’re refering to as Linux, is in fact, GNU/Linux, or as I’ve recently taken to calling it, GNU plus Linux. Maybe it’s a slippery slope fallacy on my part, but it’s not unimaginable to consider the idea that legislators could try to take down an enitre platform based on something like this. Just look at some of the proposed privacy-antagonistic legislation that’s been introduced recently to see what I mean.
