I disagree in that people mean different things when they say “i could care less” and “i couldnt care less”

“I couldnt care less” is pretty self contained and unambiguous when i hear people use it but “i could care less” not so much.

My experience being my own, i could very well be mistaken though.

So i think “its raining cats and dogs” is not a fair comparison. Perhaps its simply too soon and it will become as settled in the future…when enough people just give up on using it. Will wait and see

What are you on about mate? No one suggested letting people organize themselves, you control by allowing the seats you want to load first. Airlines already load specific sections at a time.

If seats A and F are window seats just load that way and also load by zone, back of plane first makes most sense(depending if theres more than one door on the plane or not, most are at front because of how planes park at a gate)

They already know who is travelling together so they can choose to let whatever seats they want first. Like load an entire group if they are taking up a whole row.

Just seems like they do priority boarding as way to increase ticket price, but the actual boarding process often seems badly designed

I think phrase “i could care less” is supposed to have an “as if” in front of it. It started making a lot more sense to me when i started thinking people forgot about the beginning of the phrase.

“I could care less…” Still works if used the correct way ie "I could care less about this, so maybe stop making this so difficult?”

Suppose you could even use it kinda of threateningly, like the Darth Vader line, “pray i do not alter it any further”

Children get bone cancer for purely physical reasons, yes, but there is no plan behind it, nothing that makes the situation better in any way and this is how the phrase is usually being used

Everything DOES happen for a reason. It’s literal, precise, and accurate. Reasons dont need to be mysterious, aloof, or unknowable. They often are because we choose to stop learning but everything does happen for a reason so start looking for better questions

Both of those i have logged into, but didnt play them much. The mud i played was apparently very unique and was hard to find something similar.

I think sojourn is still running…if i get the itch to mud ill have to give it a serious try!

About 3 months ago on my way home picking up burgers for my bro and i. On a major route and this sketch pedo van (early 90s white ford econoline rusted out and ratty as hell) busts out of a side street, almost hitting one person, slams on their brakes, slides over 2 lanes into oncoming traffic passes me and 2 other people before cutting someone off as an oncoming car almost hit them head on, the. Makes a left hand turn on a red light at the next intersection.

This could have been in a movie except somehow no accidents happened in my view. Fucking crazy.

Besides that a few years ago at 3 lane traffic circle on one side of an overpass to our largest highway(settle down, its only 3 lanes each way!)hear someone absolutely gunning it over the overpass. Comes into view, brand new metallic blue BMW M3 goes the wrong way into the traffic circle (everyone stopped because we all heard it coming) loses control, spins like 480° almost hits the retaining wall in the middle of the circle then proceeds to gun it back over the overpass they came from.

Probably not what you were looking for but this week i had cheese curds stolen at work out of the work fridge. Could only have been 1 of 23 people. Won’t ever find out who. I can be reasonably sure it wasn’t half of them, can’t accuse anyone since im a manager and the company response is basically don’t use the fridge if you don’t want to have things stolen

Everything you said i have lived. I say this because of what to have said. 100 a year if that’s all you can plan for, 10 dollars when. But keep adding too it. I’ve had to show out my entire savings before. Which granted weren’t much worth mentioning to be honest, but i do regret not having had something put aside

What iearned for myself is to put together a rainy day fund, and when you fill that up then put the rest into an untouchable(but not really. Invest or just save, however you want to do it, but there are times you will wish you had started thinking long term a lot earlier
