Your Pokemon can show up in the minigames too. Gen 1 up to 4 had a really sweet interconnectedness between almost everything with some exceptions. Some of it’s frustrating as hell but they really had something with that framework for the games. Now everyone’s expecting the main series games to do it all and Game Freak just can’t. Wish they’d go back to limited single player RPGs and save the big 3D games with different play styles for spin-off games.
