All I know about Xeelee is Photino Birds are scary as hell

At least space orcs have more fun with it - instead of “WE PAINTED DA SHIPZ RED TO GO FASTA” we have fuckin Elon in charge of space exploration

Some naive optimistic part of me wants to believe in the star trek future where, upon discovering life outside of our bubble, humanity will put aside greed and hate.

What is probably more likely is the star trek future where humanity has apocalyptic eugenics wars and nuclear armageddon before it shuns capital.

Right!? Big DMC fan, love the games, but they’re some of the most video game games out there. The characters, art, music, & gameplay are all phenominal but the story always boils down to “I’m evil and want to kill everybody” “No I, the wacky pizza man, won’t let you do that Mundus/Vergil/Arkham/Pope Benedict/Vergil!”

Probably Lady could’ve been done better but let’s be honest, there wasn’t really much story to betray in this franchise. Dante was done well, Vergil was done well, and they managed to make a pretty compelling story while keeping the vibes of DMC. All the good stuff in the previous entries was in character interactions and I don’t see that being compromised here? They just lacked a solid driving plot beyond “Dante kills the demons” and it’s hard to make a show that’s just 8 episodes of Donguri SSS rank combo montages

The complaints are a lot of libs & chuds showing their asses and losing it when their favorite series (that 90% of em never played) got political

On the one hand Lady didn’t have that much character in the original series to begin with but on the other hand, I’m gonna have a really hard time ever getting behind her as a protagonist given just how monumentally awful she’s been written to behave like holy shit
