Then again, I suspect I somehow may have ended up with the good gene as I have incredibly dry ear wax. On top of that I typically use antiperspirant instead of deodorant anyway, because I dislike feeling wet.

I was thinking that someone who went through the trouble of making such authentic costumes is probably known to the neighbors for them anyway.

Yeah, if the take away is that we need to cut out all fats, salt and sugar, then we’re missing out on basic nutritional needs. Our bodies REQUIRE fat, salt, and sugar to function properly and for overall health, just in reasonable amounts.

I have my cat’s moist food breakfast set in a timed feeder to open an hour before I wake up, then his “robot” feeder spits dry food at him throughout the day.

Now I only get bitched at for pets 🥰.

I feel you on that. Full disclosure - I’ve hit the point in my life where my kids are grown and self sustaining and I’m finally working a job that actually meets my needs. I wish you the absolute best in finding the right job for you and that hopefully life can suck at least a little less.

I’m also allergic, so I buy stupidly expensive cat food that reduces the enzyme in cats saliva that most people react to. I’m good to cuddle and pet my cat, as long as I can avoid scratches, I’m good.

I work in hospice and and it’s not uncommon for a family member to have multiple cameras set up in an elderly loved ones house for safety reasons. Maybe she wants to remain independent, but is a fall risk. We’ve had patients refuse in home caregivers, but allow family to put in cameras to watch for falls.

Thank God the judicial system is perfect, free from prejudice, and never anything but unquestionably fair!

I know it’s the angle and I know I’ve seen this image at some point in the past and I’ve seen it correctly, but for some reason the chair legs on the near side are totally fucked and my brain won’t accept them.

I wouldn’t call it a flex. But sometimes openly admitting something even to strangers on the Internet can offer some ownership of the situation and start someone headed the right direction.
