Blank check? they already had one and have been bypassing Congress to fund them already under Biden
The origins of “the far left” (as I understood it) was basically promoting heavy government involvement. For example, breaking up monopolies, many government subsidied programs for it’s people, which in turn needs higher taxes for it people (so the rich get taxed more, the poor get taxed less).
People on the far left were actually interested in expropriation of private property and a more egalitarian distribution of those resources and decisionmaking. They also wanted actual democracy (as in power to the people) rather than Democracy™ where it’s only for a handful of the population who aren’t getting actively disenfranchised.
If you nationalize industries you get to use the profits directly, rather than messing around with taxes after the fact.
Democrats deserve contempt for supporting a genocide trying to win at electoralism and still losing.
trolly
I hate to break it to you, but Democrats are also genocidal and through a combination of their policies and incompetence (charitable reading) created the situation which led to trump getting elected. Twice.
Here’s what actually works for getting a trolley to stop running over people:
Agreed, though that’s also why I don’t think anyone is expecting the EU to be particularly helpful either
The point is that the US was never really helping the people of gaza, just enabling the people murdering them.
support for the cause has been trending among young women voters who are vowing to swear off men.
hell yeah
Remember when Joe Biden had them make an “aid pier” that was only really used to launch a massacre from before it collapsed?
Americans, the bombs getting used to vaporize the children of Gaza are paid for with your taxes.
Rules for life (abbreviated):
Never go to a second location
Always get the interior ministry post
Never get in a helicopter
If someone with a gun enters your car, they’re gonna kill you
If someone tells you they’re not going to kill you, they’re calming you down to kill you later
Never give up your nukes
I think we can safely say trans people would have been safer under the Dems.
Unless they’re Palestinian, in which case it’s open season.
You helped get trump elected, even if indirectly. Third party voters are essentially what allowed him to win.
If you added every third party vote to Democrats in swing states they would still have lost by a large margin. Democrats were the ones who let the COVID-era mail in voting end because they were so hard for ending COVID money to people. Seems like a self-own.
You chose Trump
I already said I voted for a non-genocidal candidate (PSL). My vote had no impact on the election and America is not really a democracy anyway.
You seem to be under the mistaken assumption that Democrats are entitled to my vote. Their self-concept is that they’re “the good cop” on domestic policies while in practice doing absolutely demonic shit to people abroad the same as any Republican but with a thin rainbow coating. That doesn’t entitle them to shit from me, other than contempt.
Yeah, they didn’t even have a real primary and just at the end inserted the lady who got less electors than Andrew Yang in her home state. It just looked like politicians clinging to power rather than allowing any hint of democracy in the so-called democratic party.
Maybe the Democrats should have armed fewer genocides if they wanted people to be excited to vote for them.
Gay and trans people have already been dying to American bombs just that they’re in Palestine makes it a back burner issue? as a trans person I stand by voting for a non genocidal candidate as suggested by the PFLP.
They lost so hard they lost the popular vote, like you can’t even blame me for voting PSL, if you took every third party voter and added them to Kamala in every swing state, she still would have lost the ones she lost anyways.
I think that that no where is that made anymore clear than the sentences they have written, many of which are borderline incomprehensible some even using “drag” to refer to other people in the situation.
I would agree that using ‘drag’ to refer to other people is unacceptable on top of being confusing.
I think in my experience with DroneRights and the Me/My person that getting mad at someone for this intention is not really reasonable, as they do not have malicious intent.
I also agree with the observation that some people have been instrumentalizing identity as a way to provoke others. The Me/My bit in particular sounds a bit megalomaniacal.
Intent is extremely important here, after all they/them is indeed used for non-specific scenarios or when you don’t know a singular person’s gender, it ls also very commonly used as a non-binary pronoun for non-binary people.
For me the pattern I often observe (as a nonbinary trans person who prefers binary pronouns) is that no matter how obvious they are, if I say something that someone disagrees with it’s open season to ‘that guy’ me and claim that ‘it’s just the gender neutral usage’ when challenged on it. They always seem to double down if I press.
I will not accept the idea that they/them is dehumanizing as that is dismissive towards all the people who use or even prefer they/them for themselves. In cases where a person has shared their pronouns let’s say she/her and another person decides to use they/them to avoid it intentionally that is indeed wrong, not simply because they did it but also because they had malicious intent.
I certainly wasn’t saying that they/them is dehumanizing or dismissive, but that it is degendering rather than gender affirming, and just because someone is nonbinary they can still have a binary preference for how they are referred to in respectful circles.
I already anticipate being accused of being a transphobe and getting called a cissy, so I want to preface all of this by saying I am Agender, I am not cis,
I already figured that out from your earlier posts, respect. 🤘
It’s also not hard to accept that ‘they’ and ‘you’ applies to everyone regardless of gender. And non-humans. And inanimate objects.
If ‘you’ is good enough for both my mother and a toaster, it’s good enough for them. There is no disrespect.
Drag has to lie about my daughter’s gender to my face in order to keep up this farce and you are aiding.

The irony of posting something like that in this comm is a little much for me
I draw the line at pronouns involving pretending to fuck things that do not exist.
What about fae/faer or ze/zir then? Either way seems a little weird to be the one trying to dictate what other peoples gender is allowed to be.
I will grant that messing with first person pronouns makes language difficult, but language also is meant to be fucked with.
One of the frustrations was that they would be talking about how the economy was doing great… if you were a homeowner. The inflation was also in things like rent which they have no intent on really addressing, but disproportionately gets omitted from broader stats regarding inflation despite people getting $500+ rent increases shortly after the end of the COVID eviction protections.
