Interdimensional Cable from Rick and Morty is outrageous. GTA’s radio stations (VCPR was the best) and TV shows are often really funny. The Pißwasser beer commercial from IV always gets me.

Boom! /thread right here. This is a goooood one.
Mother Teresa would be out here looking like a zombie.
This is exactly what needs to be done. I too have been curating my YT feed for years. I don’t let anyone watch videos on my account and anything that is in conflict with the environment I want to maintain in my feed I simply don’t watch or sign into a burner account to watch.
Everyone else’s feeds are pure cancer compared to mine.
Police your algorithms, folks.
The RevStar is a nice guitar.
Enslaved is my favourite band and for me its a bit of a toss up between the albums ‘In Times’ and ‘Ruun’.
Before Enslaved took the top spot, it was Dissection’s ‘Storm Of The Light’s Bane’. Honorable mention for Opeth’s ‘Blackwater Park’.
Friend, there’s nothing wrong with enjoying extreme music. Its a bit weird when that’s all someone cares about, but many people have a healthy obsession with extreme music and you shouldn’t judge them for it.
I live next to a large open field in the middle of my city. I’d guess its about 15 acres. It’s beautifully undeveloped with a few paths through it. Lots of people use it to walk their dogs and stuff.
Why is it empty?
The land is contaminated. It used to be a rail yard about 50 years ago. A company in a major city hundreds of kilometers away owns it and as far as we know has no intention on scraping the top few feet off it so it can be rehabilitated.
Sucks to know that the land is poison but nobody’s growing stuff there. Many people enjoy it, including me and my wife. The view off my back deck is about 750m of green right smack in the middle of the city. Love it.
Bad weather for long runs is shit. Short runs tho? Just beast mode it! Conquer the elements! At least thats what I tell myself.
I’m working on the same goal but I’m sidelined with ankle issues so I’ve been cycling like a madman instead. Hopefully I can restart my training plan this coming tuesday.
Incremental training. I started with Couch-to-5K. Highly recommend. Once you complete that program, increment weekly distance by no more than 10% per week until you reach your goal.
No credit debt. No drug/alc addictions… Can run 20k+ without stopping. Care about my digital privacy. Never put so much as a scratch on a single vehicle in my life (including forklifts and non-road vehicles). Know how to sail. Couldn’t care less about team sports.
I made my steam account in 2003 and my hotmail address is even older. Likely 2002. Its almost time for my 15 year pin in CS.
Not so subtle dig, but I’ll allow it. 😉
Can’t help it when your job supplies it to you.
I’ve got Graphene on my phone and Fedora on my desktop.
That’s a fuckton of assumptions. Terrible assumptions, I might add.
Not exactly. Its just awkward for a bunch of repetitions, especially on MacOS keyboards. CMD+C/V is even worse on those.
The way I see it is that when I’ve run out of content on Lemmy, that’s my indication to put down my phone and do something else. My buddy framed it in that way during a discussion we had the other day and I think he hit the nail on the head.
That depends on your use case for desktop linux of course. For me, yabridge is the tool I needed to run VSTs on Linux. Its CLI only as far as I know.
Don’t get me wrong; I’m not afraid of the CLI. Its just some tools are assuming the end user is a server admin or someone with deeper than the upper crust knowledge of how Linux works.
The fix for this is for the guilds and unions that represent these celebrities to spin up their own instances. The suffix of the username granting the legitimacy.
