    One, CNN is ran by conservatives, so consider the source.

    Two, “Organizers for at least one Chicago fundraiser scheduled during the Democratic National Convention”, is the vaguest, meaningless statement I’ve heard this week. Some group? that raises funds for something? planned to eat a lunch at the same time the DNC is happening. That is the meat of that headline.

    The event, designed as a lunch for a few dozen wealthy Windy City denizens, was expected to rally support among the party’s loyal and well-heeled locals in a show of support for the big event in their backyard … the lunch itself was expected to bring in less than $1 million for the campaign.

    Also, the headline infers that there is ONLY ONE group halting their “convention fundraising lunch”.

    The reality is it’s just a group of local rich fucks having a rich fucks lunch so they can all look cooler than each other.

    Meanwhile, DNC host committee has met $85 million fundraising commitment, and aiming for millions more.
