Quite a bad wiki article in my opinion. Why were they banned? No explanation at all.
Um…there is a mention-
In northern and western states, fusion was largely banned by Republican-led legislatures. That might have been true 50 years ago, but the most recent bans were after 2000. That is clearly not the reasoning anymore.

I would love to, but I don’t know this subject and I’ve edited Wikipedia before on something I knew 100% was incorrect and it was undone in the hour. Not interested in starting an edit war against someone who has more time than sense.
