Yes, quality of common drugs is going both down and up. Coke is going up, like the quality in the 70’s. The stuff I get is usually 86% which is insane. 10 years ago 60% was unusually high, now it’s street junk. But the stuff which is made in euro and Chinese labs, like MDMA, pill form or christals, christals meth (yes, sadly now also produced over here) and designer drugs like 2fmp, 4fa, etc are made in labs relying on resources. Due to regulations it can be harder to get the proper ones, so they find alternatives, many times stuff you rather not see in your party dope.

It’s an issue for a while. For about 20 years the quality of XTC has been going down. Nothing can compare to the old blue Mitsubishi’s. To compensate, the percentage of MDMA has been going up. The blue Mitsubishi was about 120mg, the pills of 10 years ago were between 200 and 220 mg, these days they are mostly around 160mg. (the products for NL / BE, it’s already lower mostly in Germany, and even worse when you go further than that)
Also with GHB it has been an issue. The best quality of GBL, one of the 3 components, was from Germany (it’s paint thinner). But because of the GHB production it became harder to buy, so people had to order from the US which was worse quality. But now that’s nearly impossible to get, so people order from China which is even worse. And when 1 of the 3 components is paint thinner (the other 2 are sink unblocker and de stilled water) you really, really don’t want the worst quality.
But the quality of ketamine has been going up finally, after several years of horrible vanilla junk and average weird looking powder. Now it’s pure needles for dirt cheap <3
