“Democratic Socialism” is a contradiction in terms. A dictatorship of the proletariat cannot be democratic. You might be thinking of “Social Democracy”, a system implemented successfully in many parts of the developed world (with the United States being a notable exception) but that’s a form of capitalism.
You do understand that the “proletariat” is 99% of the world, right? You also understand that the word democracy stems from demos, which is the people and kratos which means rule.
Currently, we have plutocracy. Rule of the money through massive manipulation campaigns.
