If you died of a heart attack that was due to inflammation caused by COVID then you died because of COVID… If you didn’t get sick you wouldn’t have died. Generally when people died of a disease like that it was because of a knock on effect. People dying of the flu don’t die of the flu, they die of pneumonia that was caused by the flu. If you didn’t get the flu you wouldn’t have had pneumonia. The flu is a virus and pneumonia is a bacterial infection that only thrives because of the damage caused by the flu.
