Not really Covid days yet, just the beginning and while very scary and chaotic, there was still some sense that the experts will step in and make things better.
Or knew someone who died. Or had to work customer service as an “essential worker” in a blue city in a red state where customers treated you like shit for enforcing the mask mandate. Or had a family member that got brainwashed by the president into thinking they were literally going to have to shoot you in the upcoming Civil War. Or you had to isolate from your friends and family because your partner had a pre-existing condition. Otherwise, pretty good times.

COVID was pretty good times in retrospect, as long as you didn’t get sick, laid off or died.
